## What it does

Charming is a hosted MCP server for generating and maintaining interactive web applications. An AI client can create an app, publish it at a live URL, and work with its stored data through callable operations. It supports Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Windsurf (Devin Desktop), Cline, Zed, and Gemini CLI.

The server exposes 37 tools. They cover app creation and edits, asset uploads, sharing roles, templates, feedback, scheduled Routines, and Webhooks. Separate read and write operations can run inside an app without changing its source.

Connect through `https://charm.ing/mcp`. OAuth can bootstrap the required bearer token through a one-time consent flow, so a client may not need a key pasted by hand. A public app uses one shared data pool for anonymous visitors, which means anyone holding its URL can overwrite or wipe that data.
