# CarChat Inventory

Searches live US car dealership inventory and returns local price statistics. Useful when an assistant needs to pick vehicles by budget or contact dealers.

## What it does

This server connects agents to US dealership vehicle stock over streamable HTTP. Inventory records sync daily from individual dealer listings. You do not need an account or an API key to query the endpoint. Every vehicle record includes a stable web address based on its VIN.

The server exposes tools to filter vehicles by price or mileage. It also calculates median prices and ranges across metropolitan areas. Assistants can send a purchase inquiry directly to the store listing the car. The user must grant explicit consent before their contact details leave the chat session.

CarChat does not evaluate car reliability or calculate loan terms: the service only indexes active dealership stock.
