## What it does

Candor gives an agent access to a user’s financial workspace, including saved plans, notes, goals, budgets, and computed figures. It can help plan a savings goal, sort transactions, look for fees or missed refunds, and prepare tax materials. Its weekly review covers spending, bills, debt, savings, and investments.

The connection uses Candor’s hosted MCP server and OAuth. Linked accounts are read-only: the agent cannot move money or change records at a financial institution. You’ll need to approve access to Candor before the agent can work with personal financial information.

The package contains instruction skills and one MCP server, with no hooks or background processes. A full checkup also includes `scripts/review-sweep.mjs`, a Node helper that summarizes files handed to it and makes no network calls.
