## What it does

This tool links Blackboard Learn to AI assistants over the Model Context Protocol, with support currently built for UPC in Peru. It lets your agent read course catalogs, folder trees, announcements, and instructor feedback without manual copying from a web browser.

Beyond LMS features, it can query research databases including Crossref, OpenAlex, ACM, Scopus, and Web of Science to verify DOIs and cite sources. Sign-in happens on your machine: Playwright launches Chromium to complete the Campus account login and Microsoft SSO with MFA.

Running this integration requires Node.js 22.13.0 or higher along with an active UPC student profile. Without executing `npx campus-cli@2.2.3 account login` in your terminal first, the MCP server will fail to authenticate.
