## What it does

BumbleBox is a remote MCP server that gives an assistant access to your mailboxes: Gmail, Outlook, any IMAP. It can search and read messages, list contacts, folders and calendar events, and prepare drafts of replies and campaigns. The server lives at `https://api.bumblebox.ai/api/mcp` and speaks streamable HTTP.

Sign-in uses OAuth 2.1 with dynamic client registration and PKCE. You confirm access once on bumblebox.ai and can see which permissions the assistant receives. A Pro or Business plan is required.

Sending is gated. A message leaves only after you click Send or Schedule, or under a standing permission you define yourself in BumbleBox for a narrow scope. An assistant cannot alter that permission. Deletion is never permanent: `trash_email` sends only obvious junk to the Trash and turns everything else into a one-tap proposal inside BumbleBox, while `restore_to_inbox` brings a message back. Claude users also get a plugin with the `/bumblebox:to-answer` and `/bumblebox:tidy` commands.
