## What it does

BounceProtect gives an AI assistant tools to check one email address or a list and identify addresses to remove. A separate tool reports the remaining credit balance. Batch checks can handle up to 100 addresses at once.

You need a BounceProtect API key. In Claude Code, the server runs through `npx` as an MCP server, with the key passed in the `YOUR_API_KEY` environment variable. Each address check uses one credit, so check your balance before sending a large list.

## Requirements
- Needs: Node.js (commands run via npx)
- Environment variables: `YOUR_API_KEY` — keys and tokens: ask the human for the values, never commit them or put them in shared files.
