## What it does

The server lets an agent search Apple developer documentation and video transcripts. It combines keyword matching with semantic retrieval, then uses Jev to rank results against the API, platform, and version in a query. If Jev’s API call fails, a backup reranker takes over.

Connect over Streamable HTTP at `https://mcp.apple-rag.com`. You can start without a token; adding an MCP Token raises usage limits. Calls to `search` and `fetch` share the quota. Self-hosting means running a database, maintaining the indexed corpus, and managing model API credentials.

Ask about an API or request a Swift, Objective-C, or SwiftUI example. Saving the configuration alone does not confirm that the connection works, so verify the tools after setup.
