## What it does

The server packages 315 tools that interface directly with Bexio. It handles customer records, draft invoices with Swiss QR-bill and ISO 20022 formats, project timelines, and compound journal entries (`Sammelbuchung`). It also computes account balances (`Saldenliste`) across selected dates.

Operation runs either over `stdio` or through an HTTP server on port 8000. You will need a personal API token generated on developer.bexio.com to authenticate requests.

Leaving out `BEXIO_HTTP_TOKEN` in HTTP mode leaves the endpoint open to anyone with network reach. File uploads over HTTP also fail unless you confine them with `BEXIO_FILE_DIR`.

- check overdue customer invoices with totals
- generate draft invoices with line items and tax calculation
- log timesheet entries on active projects
- pull journal entries and computed account balances
