## What it does

The integration runs against a hosted endpoint at `https://mcp.beehiiv.com/mcp`. No processes run on your local machine. Agents use Streamable HTTP to generate post drafts, organize subscriber tags, design email sequences, and inspect click rates. Publishing and triggering automations stay manual actions in the web interface, so the agent prepares assets without sending them out automatically.

Authentication relies on OAuth 2.1 instead of manual API keys. On the first tool call, the client registers dynamically and redirects you to a browser login. Permissions match your existing beehiiv credentials, so the model only touches publications you already manage.

If MCP is disabled in workspace settings, all calls fail with a permission error. Tool availability also depends on your beehiiv subscription plan.
