## What it does

Base Intel MCP exposes on-chain read operations for Base mainnet through an HTTP endpoint at `https://base.datakoot.com/mcp`. The service retrieves information directly from public Base RPC providers with fallback mechanisms. Setup requires zero authentication tokens or account registrations.

The server offers five query tools. `address_report` inspects ETH and USDC holdings, transaction counts, and contract status for an account. `token_info` and `token_balance` fetch ERC-20 parameters and specific wallet balances. For network tracking, `gas_now` reports real-time gas costs in gwei and wei, while `tx_status` checks block heights, gas consumption, and execution results by hash.

Because the server is strictly read-only, it cannot sign payloads, broadcast transfers, or interact with state-modifying contracts. All surfaced on-chain data serves strictly informational purposes rather than financial counsel.
