## What it does

This server hooks your coding agent directly to the Banquish desktop app for Apple silicon Macs. Instead of dumping plain text snapshots, it isolates functional blocks from websites—such as media players, stock charts, or price monitors—and pins them inside an interactive visual workspace where they keep updating.

The `banquish-mcp` package functions as a minimal stdio bridge. It executes `~/.banquish/bin/banquish mcp`, passing input and output straight to the running macOS app, which it launches if closed. The package bundles zero external dependencies and does not transmit network traffic on its own.

Without the local Mac app running, the server is non-functional. If the shim binary is missing from your system, the server registers its tool definitions during discovery, yet every tool invocation immediately fails with an error prompting you to download the application.

## When to use it
- capture live sections of web pages directly into an interactive canvas
- monitor changing prices or dynamic metrics without losing page interactivity
- embed web media players and interactive tables into a single desktop view

## Example prompts
- Pull the pricing comparison table from the website and pin it to my Banquish workspace.
- Locate the live chart on the exchange page and embed it as a live component.
