## What it does

BankSync is a remote MCP server with 28 tools for bank connections, accounts, transactions, balances, investments, loans, workspaces, and sync jobs. An agent can inspect available accounts, retrieve financial records, configure data feeds, and start a sync.

The service uses Streamable HTTP at `https://mcp.banksync.io`. Feeds can send data to Notion, Google Sheets, or Airtable. A BankSync API key is required. The local `npx` bridge cannot connect without `BANKSYNC_API_KEY`.

## Requirements
- Needs: Node.js (commands run via npx)
- Remote server: `https://mcp.banksync.io`
- Environment variables: `BANKSYNC_API_KEY` — keys and tokens: ask the human for the values, never commit them or put them in shared files.
