## What it does

Banco MCP connects an AI agent to Brazilian Open Finance through MCP over HTTP. After a bank is linked, the agent can read accounts, balances, transactions, credit card bills, investments, and loans. It also exposes sync status, category data, connection lists, and consent removal through 13 tools.

Supported institutions include Itaú, Nubank, Santander, Banco do Brasil, Caixa, XP, and other Brazilian banks and brokers. The first request opens a browser for magic-link authentication, and at least one bank must be connected before financial data can be queried. The server cannot move money because its access is read-only.

For Claude Code, add it with `claude mcp add --transport http banco-mcp https://api.mcp.ai/banco`. Other clients that support MCP over HTTP can use `https://api.mcp.ai/banco` as the server URL.
