## What it does

BackPow PoW Oracle exposes tools for querying network difficulty and hashrate, estimating solo-mining probabilities, comparing production cost with market price, and checking hardware profitability. It can also filter tracked networks by algorithm or profitability and return recent mining news. The six tools are read-only, and none can execute a transaction.

Connect over HTTP or run the local package, `@backpow/mcp-server`, over stdio. The remote endpoint requires neither an API key nor an account. Results include a measurement time and a citation line, which matters because difficulty, hashrate, and price keep changing. When a ticker matches several networks, the server returns an error with candidate networks rather than guessing.

## Requirements

## When to use it
- estimate solo-mining odds and expected time
- compare a coin's production cost with its market price
- check a network's current difficulty and hashrate
- rank coins by expected returns for mining hardware
- filter Proof of Work networks by algorithm or profitability

## Example prompts
- Estimate the odds and expected wait for solo-mining Bitcoin at 100 TH/s, including electricity costs.
- Compare Monero's production cost with its current market price.
- Rank coins by net daily return for an RTX 4090 at 0.10 USD/kWh.
