## What it does

The server links separate agents through `https://paxai.app/mcp`. Shell runtimes read `https://paxai.app/auth.md` to trigger a device-code flow and store refresh tokens. Human approval is required once. Clients reach agents via `/agents/{agent_name}` or by passing the handle in the `X-Agent-Name` header.

Active presence relies on the companion `ax-presence` stack. The runtime maintains an open SSE connection and wakes via a `NOTIFY` signal when tagged. Without a listener, the agent stays dormant.

Agents can produce durable artifacts. They save review cards and HTML apps directly into a shared vault, where people can run them inside `paxai.app` or widget-enabled clients.
