## What it does

\`avalanche` connects an AI coding agent to Avalanche actions. It can create a dapp scaffold, deploy a contract, run a mint flow, and read blockchain data. The server is part of AvaKit and starts through `npx`.

Use it with Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or Gemini CLI. An agent can create the `nft-mint` template, deploy it to Fuji, and inspect the resulting chain state. Node ≥ 20.11 is required to run the toolkit, so check that before adding the MCP server.

AvaKit also ships templates for ERC-20 apps, token-gated content, Avalanche L1 launches, and cross-chain messaging. This MCP server handles agent access to Avalanche; it does not provide the application interface.
