# Aura UI

Aura UI lets an AI agent look up Blade components and their APIs. Use it while building Laravel interfaces with Tailwind CSS 4.

## What it does

The MCP server gives an agent a way to search Aura UI components and check their actual APIs before writing Blade code. The library includes options such as calendars, file uploads, and Chart.js-based charts.

The app needs PHP 8.3+, Laravel 12 or 13, and Tailwind CSS 4. Livewire is optional; the Blade components also work without it. Connect the server over HTTP at `https://aura-ui.com/mcp/aura`.

This MCP connection does not add components to your project. Aura UI provides a Composer package and `php artisan aura:add` for copying component source, so installing the server alone does not install the library in your app.

## Requirements
- Remote server: `https://aura-ui.com/mcp/aura`

```bash
codex mcp add aura-ui --url https://aura-ui.com/mcp/aura
```

### Cursor

**Config file**
File `.cursor/mcp.json`:
```json
{
    "mcpServers": {
        "aura-ui": {
            "url": "https://aura-ui.com/mcp/aura"
        }
    }
}
```

### GitHub Copilot

        }
    }
}
```
### Gemini CLI
**Platform CLI: remote server**
```bash
gemini mcp add -t http aura-ui https://aura-ui.com/mcp/aura
```
## When to use it
- find a Blade component for an interface
- check a component API before generating code
- look up the parameters accepted by a component
- choose an Aura UI component for a form
## Example prompts
- Find the Aura UI calendar component and explain how to use its API.
- Check the Aura UI button API and show a Blade example.
- Find a file upload component and list its parameters.
