# ats

Tells you which ATS a company runs and checks a resume against it. Handy before you send an application and want to know what it lands in.

## What it does

The server returns employer records: the recorded ATS, the published apply host, an industry label and a link to the supporting evidence. Some rows carry an October 2026 re-verification flag; the rest keep their earlier attribution. A resume check against ATS requirements is part of the same server.

No API key is involved, and the endpoint is `https://withresumeai.com/api/mcp`. The data comes from the npm package `@withresumeai/ats-data` at version 2.1.0, which ships a CSV plus a typed Node.js API with no dependencies. Using the package needs Node.js 18 or later; reading the CSV with pandas needs pandas installed.

Vendor shares are computed over the re-verified slice only, and that slice leans toward vendors with public job APIs. SuccessFactors, Avature and BrassRing mostly sit on shared hosts, so they are undercounted. Treat the percentages as a description of this sample, not the market.

## Requirements

```bash
claude mcp add --transport http ats https://withresumeai.com/api/mcp
```

### Codex

**Platform CLI: remote server**
```bash
codex mcp add ats --url https://withresumeai.com/api/mcp
```

### Cursor

**Config file**
File `.cursor/mcp.json`:
```json
{
    "mcpServers": {
        "ats": {
            "url": "https://withresumeai.com/api/mcp"
        }
```

## When to use it
- find out which ATS a specific employer uses
- check a resume against ATS parsing before applying
- list employers by ATS vendor or industry
- export ATS attributions to CSV and compute your own counts
- locate the published apply host and its evidence link

## Example prompts
- Which ATS does Apple use, and is it verified?
- List employers in the dataset running Workday
- Check my resume against ATS requirements
