## What it does

astro connects an AI agent to a deterministic Python calculation engine. It can produce natal charts, transit data, synastry, compatibility results, and other astrology outputs through an MCP server with 18 tools. The model receives structured calculations and interprets them instead of estimating planetary positions.

The server covers Western tropical astrology, Vedic Jyotisha with Lahiri sidereal calculations, and Chinese BaZi. Its listed set includes 19 modes, such as returns, progressions, horary charts, and astrocartography. A request without `hour` and `minute` only reaches Sun-sign level, so a full chart requires an exact birth time along with the location details.
