## What it does

The server is remote and speaks Streamable HTTP at `https://mcp.apollo.io/mcp`. Nothing runs on your machine — no Node.js, no Docker. You sign in through Apollo.io OAuth, and the server then works within your account's permissions.

Tools cover people search by title, seniority and location, company search by industry and size, enrichment of contacts and accounts one at a time or in bulk, sequence handling (find a sequence, add a contact, stop one), and metric queries for email, calls, meetings, tasks and opportunities. Some actions spend Apollo credits, enrichment among them, so check your plan balance before running bulk jobs.

The repository also ships a plugin for Claude and Cowork with ready-made skills (`/apollo:*`) that sit on top of the same server. In VS Code and GitHub Copilot the server is not yet listed in the MCP gallery, so you add it by hand in `.vscode/mcp.json`.

## When to use it
- find contacts by title and location in Apollo
- enrich a list of people and companies before outreach
- load leads into a sequence and stop the ones that should not run
- pull metrics for emails, calls and meetings
- create Apollo contacts inside an enrichment workflow
