## What it does

APITube News exposes a hosted news service through MCP and Streamable HTTP. The endpoint is `https://mcp.apitube.io/`, so there is no local process to keep running. Results arrive as structured records rather than scraped page HTML.

The server provides two tools. `search_news` handles queries with keyword, language, country, source, date, sentiment, and entity filters. `suggest` resolves a name into IDs for an entity, topic, category, or industry. Articles include sentiment and extracted entities. A valid API key is required for searches.

In Claude Code, add the remote server with the HTTP transport command. Authentication uses `Authorization: Bearer <API_KEY>` or `X-API-Key: <API_KEY>`. The setup connects to the hosted service instead of installing a package in the project.

## Requirements

        }
    }
}
```
### Gemini CLI
## When to use it
- search current coverage of a company or topic
- filter articles by country, language, or source
- find stories within a date range
- select coverage by sentiment
- resolve names into filterable entity IDs
## Example prompts
- Find recent English-language coverage of Tesla and keep articles with positive sentiment.
- Search earthquake reports from the last week, grouped by country and filtered by source.
- Resolve “OpenAI” to its entity ID, then use that ID for a focused news search.
