## What it does

This server connects models to the Apideck Unified API, exposing 330 tools divided into 10 domain interfaces. Assistants can manipulate ledger entries, manage customer pipelines, retrieve employee records, and track support tickets directly inside chat sessions. Composite tools are also included, such as `apideck-month-end-close-check`, which queries 4 financial statements simultaneously.

You can point your agent to the cloud endpoint at `https://mcp.apideck.dev/mcp` or run the package locally with `npx -y @apideck/mcp start`. Passing credentials via CLI flags fails immediately because the local process reads configuration strictly from environment variables.

## Requirements
- Needs: Node.js (commands run via npx)
- Remote server: `https://mcp.apideck.dev/mcp`
- Environment variables: `APIDECK_API_KEY`, `APIDECK_APP_ID`, `APIDECK_CONSUMER_ID` — keys and tokens: ask the human for the values, never commit them or put them in shared files.
