# google-flights

Search Google Flights, compare fares across dates and cabin classes, and track price changes through an AI agent. Handy for checking routes without leaving your coding workflow.

## What it does

The server searches one-way, round-trip, and multi-city itineraries. An agent can compare cabin fares, assess layovers and CO2 emissions, find nearby airports, and return a Google Flights booking link. Date tools include a price calendar and a scan across a range of dates.

Price tracking stores observations in SQLite at `~/.google-flights-mcp/prices.db`. No API key is required. The server relies on an internal Google Flights endpoint, so a change to Google's response format can interrupt searches; response structure is validated.

For Claude Code, connect it through `npx`; there is no need to install the package first. You need `npx` and access to Google Flights.

## Requirements
- Needs: Node.js (commands run via npx)
