## What it does

Amazon.in MCP Server exposes three tools: product search, detail lookup by ASIN or URL, and Keepa history-link generation. Search results include ranked listings, the cheapest available option, and a value pick based on rating, review count, and price.

It runs locally over stdio, reads Amazon.in HTML, and needs no API key or account. Page caching, retries, and an optional HTTP/HTTPS proxy are available through `AMAZON_IN_PROXY`. Image input is deliberately unsupported, so the client must turn an image into product keywords first.

In Claude Code, install it with `claude mcp add amazon-in-mcp-server -- npx -y amazon-in-mcp-server`, then restart the MCP client. Bot-check pages can still make a request fail, which matters during repeated use.

## Requirements
- Needs: Node.js (commands run via npx)
- Environment variables: `AMAZON_IN_AFFILIATE_TAG` — keys and tokens: ask the human for the values, never commit them or put them in shared files.
