## What it does

This MCP server queries the Trends API for Amazon shopper demand patterns and bestseller rankings. Your assistant gets structured metrics on keywords, demand trends across predefined windows, and top-ranking products directly through API calls.

The server delivers weekly time series, growth calculations for windows such as `3M`, `12M`, or `YTD`, and live feeds like `Amazon Best Sellers Top Rated`. The returned `value` is an index from 0 to 100, which reflects search interest rather than unit sales.

You need a `TRENDSAPI_KEY` token from `trendsapi.ai` to authenticate requests. Clients connect over remote HTTP to `https://amazon.api.trendsapi.ai/mcp`, so there is no need to host a local script.
