## What it does

This server lets an agent read the market instead of guessing at it: quotes and charts, news feeds, SEC EDGAR documents, financial statements, insider activity, earnings calendars, options and crypto. It trades nothing, holds nothing and writes no summaries. You ask questions in your own agent and it pulls the records through MCP tools.

SEC EDGAR and Treasury data are public. Everything else needs keys from your own market-data and news providers, which you supply. Install is a single `uvx` line, with no account and no database. Without vendor keys the paid feeds stay empty, so that is the one thing to line up first.

Read-only is the whole design. If you want an agent to place orders or book trades, this is the wrong tool and no setting changes that.
