## What it does

aiseo-audit runs a local review of a web page for generative search use. It checks crawler access, page structure, entities, topic coverage, source signals, authorship, and organization identity. Results are grouped into four stages: technical eligibility, retrieval alignment, citation fitness, and provenance. More than 50 factors are labeled by evidence level.

The MCP server lets Claude Code and other supported clients request these audits. The underlying CLI can accept target queries, inspect a sitemap, compare a run with earlier results, and write HTML, Markdown, or JSON reports. Node.js 20.19 or later is required; no API key is needed because the analysis runs locally without AI API calls or telemetry.

## Requirements
- Needs: Node.js (commands run via npx)

}
```
### Gemini CLI
**Platform CLI**
```bash
gemini mcp add aiseo-audit npx -y aiseo-audit-mcp
```
## When to use it
- audit a page for generative search readiness
- locate barriers to crawling and text extraction
- check content against target search queries
- export findings as HTML, Markdown, or JSON
- compare audit results across runs
## Example prompts
- Audit `https://example.com` for AI search readiness and list the highest-impact fixes.
- Review `https://example.com/guide` against the queries “how to set up SSO” and “SAML vs OIDC”.
- Inspect the sitemap at `https://example.com/sitemap.xml` and summarize the result for each URL.
