# Agent Help Network

Checks a public domain's agent policy, uptime, and official paths when a web request hits a 403, captcha, or login wall. Helps agents choose the next action.

## What it does

Automated web actions frequently hit Cloudflare challenges, login forms, or 5xx errors. Instead of blindly cycling through retries, an agent can inspect the host's declared policies. The server checks whether the target site permits specific crawlers, checks its current availability, and points to supported integration paths.

The service exposes the read-only `check_incident` tool and an optional `report_observation` tool over HTTP. Setup does not require an account or API token. You must pass only the public hostname. Passing full URLs, query parameters, auth tokens, or chat logs is not permitted, which keeps your private request context safe.

## Requirements
- Remote server: `https://agenthelpnetwork.com/mcp`

## Install

**Platform CLI: remote server**
```bash
claude mcp add --transport http agent-help-network https://agenthelpnetwork.com/mcp
```

### Codex

**Platform CLI: remote server**
```bash
codex mcp add agent-help-network --url https://agenthelpnetwork.com/mcp
```

### Cursor

**Config file**
File `.cursor/mcp.json`:
```json
{
    "mcpServers": {
        "agent-help-network": {
            "url": "https://agenthelpnetwork.com/mcp"
        }
    }
}
```

### GitHub Copilot

**Config file**
File `.vscode/mcp.json`:
```json
{
    "servers": {
        "agent-help-network": {
            "type": "http",
            "url": "https://agenthelpnetwork.com/mcp"
        }
    }
}
```

### Gemini CLI

**Platform CLI: remote server**
```bash
gemini mcp add -t http agent-help-network https://agenthelpnetwork.com/mcp
```

## When to use it
- diagnose web navigation failures caused by 403 errors or captchas
- inspect crawler permissions declared in `robots.txt` for specific agent vendors
- find official host endpoints instead of scraping protected web pages
- determine if a blocked task genuinely requires human intervention

## Example prompts
- Check Agent Help Network to see why requests to `github.com` are blocked
- The website returned HTTP 403. Check its crawler policy and suggest what to do next
- Call `check_incident` for this domain to see if the service is currently down
