## What it does

The server hands the assistant 15 tools, split into 10 that read and 5 that write. Read tools pull campaigns, ad sets, creatives, daily spend and revenue rows, anomalies, and optimization suggestions. Write tools spin up a campaign, ad set or ad, rename things, change daily budgets and statuses. One call to `set_campaign_status` starts or pauses as many as 25 campaigns, Meta and Google together.

Ad creation runs in the background and hands back an `operation_id`; check on it later with `get_operation_status`. Creative is either freshly generated or copied from an ad you name. A source ad set's schedule does not carry over — the new one has no end date unless you pass a future one. Every field in `update_campaign` reports its own result, so a rejected budget shows up as a rejected budget rather than a failed call.

The assistant asks before any write goes through. One catch for Performance Max: Google has no separate ad level, so `update_ad` does not reach it, and an asset group's budget sits on the campaign. Autopilot needs the built-in scheduled tasks in Claude and ChatGPT.
