## What it does

AdLoop integrates paid traffic management and analytics directly into your development workflow. The server queries Google Ads, Reddit Ads, GA4, and Google Tag Manager. It helps identify discrepancies between tracking code in your repository and actual events logged by GA4.

Safety mechanics control every modification. The assistant presents an approval preview before updating an account. Drafted campaigns and ads start paused by default. In addition, conversion gap audits account for European consent rejections to prevent false tracking alerts.

Running AdLoop locally requires Python 3.11+ alongside your own Google Cloud project, though an EU-hosted cloud endpoint exists at `https://mcp.getadloop.com/mcp`.

## Requirements
- Needs: Python and uv (commands run via uvx)
- Remote server: `https://mcp.getadloop.com/mcp`

## Install

```
2. **Platform CLI**
```bash
claude mcp add adloop -- uvx adloop
```
uvx runs the command named after the package; if the README names another one, use uvx --from adloop <command>
### Codex
1. **Platform CLI: remote server**
```bash
codex mcp add adloop --url https://mcp.getadloop.com/mcp
```
2. **Platform CLI**
```bash
codex mcp add adloop -- uvx adloop
```
uvx runs the command named after the package; if the README names another one, use uvx --from adloop <command>
### Cursor
**Config file**
File `.cursor/mcp.json`:
## When to use it
- extract search terms to add negative keywords directly from the editor
- audit tracking discrepancies between repository events and GA4 logs
- cross-reference ad destination URLs with GA4 page performance
- draft responsive search ads with mandatory user confirmation
## Example prompts
- Run `health_check` to verify connections to Google Ads and GA4
- Pull search terms from Google Ads and mark wasteful queries as negative keywords
- Compare checkout events in my code with actual GA4 incoming data
