## What it does

AddCal connects to public calendars rather than managing your personal schedule. Its tools can create and edit events, group calendars into collections, inspect subscribers and RSVPs, and retrieve analytics. For recurring events, `preview-recurring-dates` lets you check the resulting dates before creating a series.

The hosted server uses HTTP and OAuth, so there is no API key to paste into your client. In Claude Code, run `claude mcp add --transport http addcal https://addcal.co/mcp`, then open `/mcp` to sign in. Some actions need explicit confirmation: deleting an event, sending an invite, and creating an RSVP. Removing a recurring event deletes the full series, so check the target before confirming. Subscriber names and email addresses are available only when a calendar collects those details.
