## What it does

Action1 MCP exposes the Action1 API to an MCP agent. It can retrieve endpoint data and produce organization-wide views of missing patches and vulnerabilities. The package includes the `action1-cli` companion and a `SKILL.md` file for agents that load skills directly.

It is listed for Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Windsurf (Devin Desktop), Cline, and Zed. Action1 authentication is required before use. Keep the default stdio transport: this build’s HTTP mode has no password, and a browser page could reach the service with your credentials, so starting HTTP is unsafe.

## Requirements
- Environment variables: `ACTION1_BASE_URL`, `ACTION1_CLIENT_ID`, `ACTION1_CLIENT_SECRET`, `ACTION1_OAUTH2`, `ACTION1_ORG_ID`, `ACTION1_NO_CONFIG_WRITE` — keys and tokens: ask the human for the values, never commit them or put them in shared files.
