## What it does

60fps connects a coding agent to a library of motion examples taken from released iOS apps. Describe an interaction in natural language, and the server searches for relevant clips, exposes their keyframes, and explains how the animation moves from its initial state to its final one, including timing and easing. You can also retrieve a standalone SwiftUI file for use in Xcode.

The included skills help review where motion belongs in an app, define shared animation settings in `Motion.swift`, design loading and error feedback, and prepare implementation notes from a reference clip. Your agent leaves project code untouched until you approve changes. The hosted server requires a paid 60fps MCP licence or a qualifying 60fps PRO key purchased on or before 12 Sep 2026. Requests without a valid key return HTTP 401.

The service covers iOS motion only. It does not provide Android, Flutter, React Native, or web animation references, nor does it handle frame-rate profiling or brand assets. Generated SwiftUI examples omit the original app's copy, colours, and assets, so the visual styling must be rebuilt to fit your own design system.

## Requirements
- Remote server: `https://mcp.60fps.design/mcp`

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

```bash
claude mcp add --transport http library https://mcp.60fps.design/mcp
```

### Codex

**Platform CLI: remote server**
```bash
codex mcp add 60fps --url https://mcp.60fps.design/mcp
```

### Cursor

**Config file**
File `.cursor/mcp.json`:
```json
{
    "mcpServers": {
        "60fps": {
            "url": "https://mcp.60fps.design/mcp"
        }
    }
}
```

### GitHub Copilot

**Config file**
File `.vscode/mcp.json`:
```json
{
    "servers": {
        "60fps": {
            "type": "http",
            "url": "https://mcp.60fps.design/mcp"
        }
    }
}
```

### Gemini CLI

**Platform CLI: remote server**
```bash
gemini mcp add -t http 60fps https://mcp.60fps.design/mcp
```

## When to use it
- Locate a real iOS example of a gesture-driven transition
- Recreate an interface animation in SwiftUI using its keyframes
- Identify screens and interactions that would benefit from motion
- Define shared durations, springs, and haptics in `Motion.swift`
- Write implementation notes for loading, success, and error feedback

## Example prompts
- Find an iOS app example of pull-to-refresh and build a SwiftUI version in this project.
- Review my SwiftUI code, identify useful animation points, and find matching references in the 60fps library.
- Design loading, success, and error states for this feature, including motion and haptic feedback.
