## What it does

1c-rest-mcp gives an agent access to a live 1C Enterprise database through the platform’s OData 3.0 endpoint. It covers catalogs, documents, registers, constants, batch actions, change tracking, and metadata discovery. Write operations are supported too.

A write gate can run in `off`, `preview`, or `approval` mode, while reversible actions return a rollback token. The server runs with `npx` and uses `ONEC_BASE_URL`, `ONEC_LOGIN`, and `ONEC_PASSWORD` for the connection. The 1C OData endpoint must be published, or the server cannot reach the database.

## Requirements
- Needs: Node.js (commands run via npx)

## When to use it
- read records from 1C catalogs
- create or update 1C documents
- inspect register balances and turnovers
- discover entities and links from metadata
- run batch actions against the database

## Example prompts
- Use the connected MCP server to show records from a 1C catalog.
- Create a 1C document, but ask for approval before writing it.
- Find the relevant register metadata and report its balances and turnovers.
