Pulls the agenda, attendee list and linked docs for your next calendar event. Handy right before a call when you don't want to dig through the invite.

## What it does

The command talks to the Google Workspace CLI and returns your next upcoming event: agenda, attendees, description and document links. It reads only, nothing gets modified.

Under the hood it wraps `gws workflow +meeting-prep`. Pick a calendar with `--calendar` (defaults to `primary`) and an output shape with `--format` — json, table, yaml or csv. Check `gws --version` and `gws auth status` first: no `gws` binary or no configured auth means the command goes nowhere. Use `gws schema` if you want to see the method parameters before calling it.

You need the Google Workspace CLI installed and authenticated. Worth having when your calendar is packed and you want the context in the terminal instead of a browser tab.

## Requirements
- Works with: Google Workspace

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

1. **claude-code-templates**
```bash
npx claude-code-templates@latest --command google-workspace/gws-workflow-meeting-prep
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.claude/commands/gws-workflow-meeting-prep.md` — Call it with /gws-workflow-meeting-prep. For all projects use ~/.claude/commands/

### Codex

**Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `~/.codex/prompts/gws-workflow-meeting-prep.md` — Call it with /prompts:gws-workflow-meeting-prep. Codex marks this format deprecated in favour of skills

### GitHub Copilot

**Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.github/prompts/gws-workflow-meeting-prep.prompt.md`

### Gemini CLI

**Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.gemini/commands/gws-workflow-meeting-prep.toml` — Gemini stores commands as TOML: the prompt text goes into the prompt field

## When to use it
- build an agenda for the next meeting
- see who is attending an event
- find docs attached to a calendar invite
- read meeting context in the terminal
- export event details as json or csv

## Example prompts
- Prep me for my next meeting: agenda, attendees and linked docs
- Show the next event from the Work calendar
- Print the next meeting details as a table
