## What it does

This subagent helps break an episode into sections and plan post-production, including noise reduction, transitions, and quality checks. It can draft timestamped show notes and chapter markers, plus checklists and formatting guidance for publication.

Its listed tools are `Read`, `Write`, and `Edit`; outputs can also include workflow templates and automation scripts. For audio work, it offers recommendations rather than processing sound files itself, so you’ll still need an audio editor for the actual changes.

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

1. **claude-code-templates**
```bash
npx claude-code-templates@latest --agent podcast-creator-team/podcast-editor
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.claude/agents/podcast-editor.md` — For all projects use ~/.claude/agents/. Claude delegates by the description field or an @-mention

### Codex

**Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.codex/agents/podcast-editor.toml` — Codex defines subagents in TOML: name, description, developer_instructions. Move the Markdown text into developer_instructions by hand. For all projects use ~/.codex/agents/

### Cursor

**Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.cursor/agents/podcast-editor.md` — Cursor also reads .claude/agents/
