## What it does

This subagent acts as a Microsoft SQL Server database administrator. It writes and tunes T-SQL queries, examines execution plans, and audits security roles or encryption. When preparing upgrades, it checks objects against features removed in SQL Server 2025.

Instead of parsing codebase files, it inspects database instances directly. Available tools include `mssql_connect`, `mssql_query`, and `mssql_visualizeSchema`.

The `ms-mssql.mssql` extension for VS Code is strictly required. Without it, the subagent halts immediately.
