## What it does

Powered by `GPT-4.1`, this subagent pulls relevant development prompts, system instructions, and chat modes from the `github/awesome-copilot` repository. It downloads the required assets and places them into appropriate folders across your workspace.

Files and tools are copied without alterations or summaries. Once downloading completes, the assistant supplies install links for VS Code Insiders alongside a workflow summary outlining how each piece fits into your app build cycle.

Because the subagent relies exclusively on `https://github.com/github/awesome-copilot`, it cannot pull prompt collections from alternate repositories without modifying its prompt.

## Install

### GitHub Copilot (native platform)

**Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.github/agents/meta-agentic-project-scaffold.agent.md`

### Claude Code

**Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.claude/agents/meta-agentic-project-scaffold.md` — For all projects use ~/.claude/agents/. Claude delegates by the description field or an @-mention. Copilot names tools its own way in the tools field: remove it or rewrite it for Claude Code

### Codex

**Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.codex/agents/meta-agentic-project-scaffold.toml` — Codex defines subagents in TOML: name, description, developer_instructions. Move the Markdown text into developer_instructions by hand. For all projects use ~/.codex/agents/

### Cursor

**Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.cursor/agents/meta-agentic-project-scaffold.md` — Cursor also reads .claude/agents/

Where a file is given instead of a command, copy the files from the source to that path: https://github.com/github/awesome-copilot/tree/HEAD/agents/meta-agentic-project-scaffold.agent.md
